I wonder what Rob Clarke did with the model. It was a nice looking ship with potential to be equally as effective as SNS Canarias. Like Brechin's later HMS Cumberland model it had a sub-optimal armament of single bow and stern BB cannons.

If I remember correctly it had recurrent problems with the relatively simple initial type of SW pump. It would have been a good performer with something more efficient, like a Camurati pump. I don't think it had enough use to work out all teething problems.

It had a good first Can-Nats battle. I remember it fought well. It was listing and the SW pump took time to prime but it did keep it from sinking. It made it's five minutes. The thing we overlooked in these type of models is proper waterchanneling to the pump. Did he sell that model after? I thought it only needed minor teething.

Canberra needed very little work to become a good performer. I didn't see it in Rob's collection of models and hulls in his garage before he moved out west. It was probably sold years before that.
