Well these guys need no introductin....or do they? Veteran Combat Nabs model Yamato on the left. Combat Roma (No action seen) Roma, Unarmed but designated for arming Missouri and combat veteran Bismarck. Need to add the North Carolina to this picture someday. As for their ages cause they look so young...Yamato 1999 but in my possession since 2003. Roma 1997 but in my possession since 1999. Missouri is the baby only 3 years I think and of course the Old Guy Bismarck 1993.

being new to hobby, what scale are this .
    • DONALD A. COMER
      Great,, I want to build a 1/144 destoryer(dd 537).
    • NickMyers
You sure about that? That's a pretty tricksy build in 1/144. Small. Real small. Arming won't be anything near easy.

You should stop by the Introductions forum and say Hi.

A destroyer is harder to build than these guys. Are you building it for combat or for running? Even running a destroyer that size is not easy. The superstructure will have to be very very light to keep the model stable and in turns or wind a gentle breeze hits it. Destroyers this scale do not like choppy water. Backing up a destroyer in this scale if your not careful and easily sink your destroyer. If your building for the game destroyers in fast gun are like mosquitos, quite annoying hard to hit but once hit pretty much finished.
