      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I am trying my hand at making my own guns. I got them all built but am struggling to get the BBs to feed correctly. <br />

I am currently test with 120psi of compressor air (potentially my first problem becuase of the lower PSI). Even on the lower pressure, I have force a BB down the magazine tube. Once a single BB is in the chamber, it fires and sounds quite nice. I am thinking that I have the set nut at the botton set too high.<br />

1) Too low of PSI for testing (~120PSI)<br />

I noticed today that two of my solenoids are closing slower than the other three. The three that are working well have a nice quick open and close, super fast. The other two open fast but then there is a noticeable lag on the closing time. It has affected my shooting speed on those turrets.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I use small accumulators in my ships that have trips or quads.  Singles or twin guns can get by with just the airline, although I still use small accumulators on them for good measure.<br />
Now since I have a bad left arm and hand, I can not hit the button all that fast.... <img src="styles/default/xenforo/smilies/cry.png" class="mceSmilie" alt=":crying:" title="Crying    :crying:" />  because of that, I only need small accumulators.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[I commonly hear that there is no vendor for Big Gun Cannons, and that holds back the Big Gun folks quite a bit.  After building cannons for ~ 8 years, I like this design and am willing to help others get on the water with it.  It&#039;s currently set up for 0.25&quot; in a triple configuration, but can be configured otherwise including a sweet little reloading triple torpedo cannon.  The current Bill of Materials comes out to ~$70 not including assembly labor.  Let me know if anyone wants to build...<br />

Just found a new adapter with an On/Off valve, and it worked pretty well.  It shot one of my big gun tripple cannons 55 times at full power.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[Wanted to put this out there since it has worked better for me than any other technique I&#039;ve seen and doesn&#039;t require a drill press. <br />
For me, the hardest part of drilling barrels, especially stainless ones, has been getting the drill started. Most recommend center punching or sanding the end flat with a belt sander. Center punching is extremely difficult on a rounded surface and sanding creates a weaker spot on the most abused end of the barrel.<br />
This is what I&#039;ve found works great!<br />
