The TNB was started back in the 90's as a fellowship of local Texas battlers in the MWCI. The group currently has members in Houston, Corpus Christi, Abilene, Dallas area, and Houston area. We also have members that travel to all our local events from Louisiana, making them honorary members.

I am looking for interest in having a regional battle on the weekend of October 19-21 in Dallas at the beginning of the NAMBA Nationals. They have a light schedule on the 20-21 and we can sortie between their races which should give us plenty of time to charge, fix, patch etc. This would be an IRCWCC/Namba sanctioned event.


Texas weather in October is usually warm with temps in the high 80's and low in the 70's.

The location will be at the south-east intersection of the pond...

The parks department in Carrolton is one of the best I have worked with so far. They are very enthusicastic about having us out there and will be making improvements on the pond in the future.



We hope to have 1 or 2 events out next year.

We also need to get rid of a huge amount of debris that was buried in the bushes but may need to fill the dumpster a few times to get rid of it.

The pond is approximately 585 feet long and 100 feet wide with a depth of 3-4 feet depending on the rain levels. The pond had been the local site back in 2006 and earlier but events fell off out there for various reasons.

This time we will have regular access so we can keep up the pond, practice, meet, and battle....
