    Hello all,

I am looking for interest in having a regional battle on the weekend of October 19-21 in Dallas at the beginning of the NAMBA Nationals. They have a light schedule on the 20-21 and we can sortie between their races which should give us plenty of time to charge, fix, patch etc. This would be an IRCWCC/Namba sanctioned event.

Texas weather in October is usually warm with temps in the high 80's and low in the 70's.

The location will be at the south-east intersection of the pond and ball park way.

The pond is man-made and is approx 6ft deep at the center.

We should have all amenities available such as power, restrooms, etc.

I did some quick calculations and the pond is 14hrs from GA and MN guys, 12 for Lancing area, 8 for MO guys, so definitely within Regional event driving distances.

Flights should be easy as you wont have to take a small plan on the last leg of the flight, and you can ship gear over to Jeff.

This is a great chance to show Namba what fast gun is all about and get some great exposure as well.

Please respond here with any questions and let me know if you would like to consider attending.

    Thanks

    J and the krewe

I would definitely attend. Sallad is only 4 hrs at a snails pace from me.

I may be able to visit from the MABG. Not an IRCWCC member yet, but am working to have Princess Royal ready soon for fast gun.
    Cheers,
    Mark

I think Hagerstown, MD is closer to Hampton, VA than Dallas is (maybe you moved), we should have a battle in Hagerstown late September to October timeframe, you would be very welcome to attend (and we have ships if you are a member and have event insurance)

Thanks, Kevin, I intend to visit you all, too.
I’m from Fort Worth and my father still lives there, so it looks like an opportunity to visit Dad and battle, too.

What is the status of this event taking place? I might be in Texas this weekend and would like to possibly attend if actually being held.

Sorry to be a pest... but if I am to have any chance of fitting attendance into my wife's quickly filling up Texas trip schedule, I just need to know if the event is on for sure a go and which of the days would be best to attend. Thanks

Thanks for providing some really great information. I did not realize that it was a NAMBA and much bigger event than I expected.
