This thread is for event announcements as well as discussions regarding local events and other information related to the Texas Naval Brigade.

The TNB was started back in the 90's as a fellowship of local Texas battlers in the MWCI. The group currently has members in Houston, Corpus Christi, Abilene, Dallas area, and Houston area. We also have members that travel to all our local events from Louisiana, making them honorary members.

Our website is a Facebook page and can be accessed here: www.texasnavalbrigade.com

Please post any questions you may have.

    Thanks

None that I am aware of. The closest would be Abiline and then Dallas area.

Hello. I have bounced in and out for a while. Are you guys still active in the Houston area? If you have any build days I'd love to attend. I do not have a ship at this point, and do not have much skill other than rough woodworking. I live in the NE Houston area around Liberty.

looking at the profile pic..... I was just talking with somebody the other day about doing the Edgar Quinet hull form.

but tangents aside, I bet the fellas in Tejas would happily remedy the lack of boat/need of skills

Well, to be honest, I'm more in the DFW area, so I can't speak to Houston right now ... that's a bit of a drive. I'll pester someone closer to you this evening, and hopefully have more to say sometime later.
