      I was still a bachelor at this point in early 1997 so could have models under construction anywhere in the house!

      Note that Hood has fiberglass superstructure elements and a fiberglass deck with molded in recesses for hatches. There was a double deck arrangement amidships: the forecastle deck hatches having deck houses attached to them that in turn helped support the removable boat deck. A bit complicated it but allowed accurate modelling of the superstructure.
