Bismarck post refit 2013. The superstructure and center hatch is a replacement for the original which was pummeled at Nats 2010 IRCWCC. Mr. Greg McFadden provided an excellent replacement which was molded very nicely with accurate shapes and detail . Designed for combat the material is extremely BB proof and weather proof. Not easy for paint to stick to though. I took the opportunity to really dress it up . I still need to add the classic barbette detail .
This model over it's career had numerous gun setups. The current one is the dual sidemount setup and Death Y stern setup. Very effective . It was put to good use at 2010 Nats with Rob Arena's Bismarck which also had a similiar setup. Between the 2 of them they were deadly when working in consort or individually.
Sadly the ruling to maintain the 7 units for Bismarck has been removed and she is relagated back to 6.5 units .

Wow. An absolute beauty. My Scharnhorst will be not nearly as good-looking when I complete her!

No problem and thanks! It won't be a beauty right off the bat. I do think that I will have her looking really good after a few refits.
