Now this shows the clear superiority of the Allies. You'll notice that the Axis ships are pointing the cannons at both their enemies and their friends, while the Allies just sail on knowing the enemy will sink themselves.
I been a member since the original site and it has come a long way. It is an excellent site. I have photos in the build section and the photo section besides my albums. Also I have photos in the Other clubs section such as Nabs and my own here A.R.C.C section.
I Gota ask about the Roma Littorio-class. How did she perform in battle? I assume she has two side mounts and triple sterns ? Two pumps?
@ZARUBA1987 this particular model never saw battle .It's armed with two side mounts a 50 mag and a 75 mag and then the stern has triple 50 mag cannons and a single large pump . The model handles great. This one has a large single rudder and just the inboard shafts powered. I know there are some with the three rudders but you need the 4 shafts powered to make it maneuver very very well . The barbettes like the real ship have different heights. The stern triple is deadly because you can get a good down angle for on or below waterline shots at close range .
@CURT good to know. I’m about to pick up a Littorio one of Greg McFadden kits. Just wanted to know what I could expect from her. I’m hopping to find some one to 3D print the SS for me later on. But a lot of work to do before then
