Me retrieving the Yamato after being sunk by the Musashi in Saint John NewBrunswick in 2005. What happened. Upon the first launch I the Yamato was grounded and broke off one of her propellers. I had no spares. Chris loaned me a smaller set. While it was great to have performance was not up to par as Chris's so acceleration and stopping was significantly affected. Chris had no problem getting around Yamato and getting in the first good shots. Yamato was slow in comparison and wallowed to keep up. With the flooding from the first exchange the extra weight made handling the Yamato worse. I knew I was doomed . I also forgot to seal my quarterdeck hatch which was loose. Water easily flowed through that quickly and it is the Achilles heel of a Yamato. Hit the Yamato's in the stern quarter and drop that small quarterdeck under and the ship is sunk!
