This was my 2nd RC Cbt Model. But the first to have actual BB cannons and Freon tanks installed. The pic here was of the first float test. The model had no BB cannons on board then. Like the Tenyru 99 percent of it was balsa. We were in our infancy here with cbt models. This would be the counter to the Graf Spee. Sadly the cannons were never operational and the model had a checked history for performance reliablility. It went through several refits mostly deck refits and cosmetic appearances. The model did travel to British Columbia where it sailed in Salt Water and travelled across the Victoria City Harbour and back again. The model arrived to Nova Scotia where it was sold twice . It went back to BC and was never seen again. This pic was the year 1988.
