Searchlight 2016-12-01

Have you seen the light?

3 piece searchlight. Easy assembly. Modeled loosely from WW1 German naval lights, but for our needs, more or less suitable for most of our ships.

    I print these w\ 0.16mm layers and a 0.40mm hot end.

Use a dab of E-6000 to hold the tang of the forks in place, or if printing with ABS, a drop of acetone will melt it all together nicely.
The body of the light is designed to be grasped by the forks and can be rotated.

Depending on how dialed in your printer is, you may have to do a little trimming and/or boring to make parts fit. I have also included a STEP file for the parts in the download so you can modify the design to fit your own needs.
