VulTek Industries (Western Division) is proud to present a small selection of ways in which a person can upgrade their bilge cleansing processes.
Do you use one of Tugboat's printed 550 pumps? Do you yearn to mount a brushless motor to it, or perhaps to have a vertical discharge. Well fear or yearn no more.
I cleaned up some of the geometry in the original, many round-ish things are rounder now and have provided a few options for the discerning damage controller.
I created an option for a vertical discharge (the pump built that way is a bit of a space hog, but is what it is). On both bottom options I have thinned the base of the pump body so you require less water before you can prime.
There is a new top-plate/motor mount, with 16 and 19mm bolt patterns, to support brushless motors with those patterns.
Lastly there is a motor shield meant to bolt to the top of the pump body and over the brushless motor. It can accommodate a motor of up to about 31-32mm in diameter. Among other nominally useful properties, the shield serves to limit the amount of water a brushless motor immersed in the water tries to move, thus allowing you to pump just a little longer.
Happy Pumping!
