Hello All, Former member of WWCC. Been over 15 years since I have battled (~2006); life just happens with kids and health issues, etc. Between kids and working my way up to middle management, I gotta clean out my hobby finally, which includes some of my Big Gun Warship items. For the longest time I ran the DKM Tripitz, in late 2005 the guns needed an overhaul (one of the tandem guns had a catastrophic failure). So I made some new guns. By late 2006 my interest in the hobby was at an all time low, even with running a shore battery, building guns etc. I had been holding out hope I would regain interest someday, but that has not happened. So here I am, looking to sell my Bismark / Tripitz hull. Attached are pictures of the hull with a majority of internals. You will notice the following: - there is one cannon missing, this is due to the cannon failure. I was able to salvage the ship for the battle at the time with ingenuity. Hull integrity was not compromised in the failure. - I stripped the hull down to the fiberglass frame as there were many many layers of buildup at the time. You can see all the windows are precut. - the existing gun structure / mount all came in and out as one unit once you disconnect the motors from the batteries. This was done to make hull repairs easy to complete. - You can see where the batteries were located in the clamp and the CO2 bottle rested against the batteries and forward in the the ship. - There is no superstructure. This fell several years ago and broke apart. With 3D printing, and time on ones hands, one can make a lighter weight unit. - The propellers were custom made to look like the originals. What's included: - Hull - Internals and propellers shown - Includes the metal for the sides to avoid 1/4 BB from passing through the two side. - Includes ~15 lbs of 1/4 BB. (note one bag has a few 7/32 mixed in from my Sheer) - Several barrels that I already have bent up. Asking $600 + shipping. (note: Other hulls appear to be going for less but without internals.) If anyone lives in the greater SF Bay Area, I would be willing to meet in a location in SJ or East Bay. Cheers Bret Armanini
