1/96th Scale Model Ship Regatta, Rocky Mount NC

    I'll try posting some pictures I took Sunday (Oct 11, 2009) of a 1/96 scale Model Ship Regatta held annually in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Apparently, this is a huge event that draws participants from across the USA to include California.
    Although these are not model warship combat ships, they are gorgeous in their scale details and sheer size.

    Which is the last warship. It looks like it could be a US crusier but I cant tell.

    It is a model of a future ship ordered by the US Navy. Supposedly, three are to be built. That is about all I know about it. Heh.

    I have a bunch more pictures, but these give a good idea of what was out there. I also have about 10 short videos that I'm trying to upload to Youtube. I'll post the links when that is finished. The videos are neat!

    I saw a guy in the water with a pole. Was he looking for a sunken ship?
