    Those photos are from Saturday.
The two smallish WW1 era boats are the USS Utah that I was running, and Eric's SMS Markgraf.
Then there was the large super-battleship that looks like an island. That is Matt's DKM Hindenburg. An H-39 class battleship.
Bat was running Vance's USS Hawaii. An Alaska class battlecruiser.
Matt also had his USS South Carolina.
    As for the cruisers.
We had Phill running his USS Albany. A Baltimore class heavy cruiser.
Phill also had his trusty old German P-cruiser.
Dustin had his little French light cruiser Emile Bertin.
Buddy had his USS Oregon City. Which I think is also a Baltimore class.
Mark was running his USS Roanoke. A Worcester class light cruiser.
The Oregon City is the blue cruiser.
The Albany is the light grey cruiser.
The Roanoke is the dark one.
And the Emile Bertin is the fast one. It also happens to be dark grey.
The P-cruiser has red turret cover tops.
The South Carolina was not in the battles, as the wind was too strong, and we were concerned that she
would sink. But Matt did take the time to let Luke and Logan drive it around. They dropped in from Indy
to see the boats, and seemed tickled to drive one around.

And of course, we can't forget the club project.
    Wait for it.

The USS Ohio. One of the Montana class super-battleships.
This beast is 60 pounds of killing machine. (just ask my back).
It slices. It dices. It may even julienne. I'm not sure.
But even if it doesn't, I'm not the one that is going to say anything to her.
    It's big. It's heavy. It's macho. It's mean. It's awesome.
It is NOT cute or cuddly (Nikki). So please don't go there.
And if you want to hold her, you are more than welcome to do just that.
In fact. I will let you lift her in and out of the water for us.
I only did it a few times today, and my poor back will never be the same.
Now where are my Dones pills?
    Just kidding with you Nikki.

These are the photos from Sunday.
USS Ohio, USS Hawaii, USS Roanoke, USS Albany, and SMS Markgraf.
All of the new U.S. boats are painted the same light grey.
The hope was that they would stand out well in the photos, and video.
The concern was that they might be too light a grey.
I haven't decided yet what I think. But I might darken mine just a little.
But I think we are in the ballpark.

Geez I really really like that Montana class ship. Nice lines and supestructure. I always like large ships with a grace to thier hull form.

I love beasts. Probaly why I have so many but the Montana I have been studying the shematics and looking at these photos and the Google images. I am serioulsy considering getting it when I come back from Florida and the bahamas to celebrate my Birthday in Dec and another celebration my 2nd 5 year remission for my 2nd cancer soooo a couple of milestones to celebrate and the Montana would fit nicely there. Incidentally I will be 50 in Dec.

I saw on face book a guy name Sparky? I think who was holding in his arms a 1/144 Montana. I don't know if it is armed for Combat but it sure looks good.
I saw it through a link through Sinkemfast on facebook.

yup he and the ship are in WWCC. Last I had heard was it was haveing gun and system issues. I saw it on the water once, it was a beast for the sortie it was in. hope to see it again one day fully functional.
