I found a cheap head mounted display for $25. It was originally made for an RC car with a particular camera, but there is a hack for it to use any TV input, including other cameras. It may be fun to experiment with wireless video cameras. This could be very useful in G&M events when the course goes to the other side of the pond. While we're on the subject of new video technology, take a look at this! http://www.3dvsystems.com/applications/applications.html It's a new computer-gaming camera (like the Eye Toy) that records video in 3d. Basically, for each pixel it captures, it records both the color AND THE DISTANCE TO THAT PIXEL. If anyone is interested in truly robotic warships (and possibly funding from the US Navy ) then you should definitely check this camera out.
