I have 6 Qty of the 40AH CALB LIFEPO4 Cells. They are 3.65 Volts each and are un-used. I bought them a year ago and they have never been used in a competition, just sat in the ammo box and charged from time to time.

Asking 50 per cell, free ammo box with all 6. Or make your best offer.

    Thanks

If you already have lead acid bricks, the biggest difference for you is that you already own them and you don't need to buy something else.

Kas, you may be thinking about LIPO not LIFE... I have been using LIFE since Fall 2010 and water has never been an issue.

All the different types of batteries are functionally the same.. positive and negative terminal. Standard voltage is different (LiFePO are 3.6V per cell, your lead acid's are usually "6" or "12" (actually 7.2V or 14.4V charged), etc.

WHAT!!! How dare you!!! My cells have never been wet.. IN FACT they are still in the original cardboard boxes, wrapped in tissue. I just bolted on some wires and threw them in the ship box and all. In fact my ship stays so dry that I keep all my important papers in my ship during battle.. its the only safe place for them.

My birth certificate, my stock certificate for 20K shares of apple, my ticket stubs from 'The Monkeys' concert, an Andy Warhol print signed by Andy, and a bucket of KFC that I like to keep around in case I get hungry from sinking all those Allied ships.. and I boats.

    So sorry you were misinformed!

As far as I know, between my experience and others, LiPos are not sensitive to water. Just make sure you dry them out well after every battle and the should last a long time without side effects. Now if the caseing happeneds to get pierced by say a bb, then I would say that it could be a problem if it gets wet, so keep them well protected.
