Anybody use these? I had a couple that I got to try out, but the adapter was terrible, leaked, and I shelved them. Just found a new adapter with an On/Off valve, and it worked pretty well. It shot one of my big gun tripple cannons 55 times at full power. Obviously not great for a big BB, but looks interesting for a cruiser. I'm sure the fastgun folks would also be fine with this capacity given their efficiency. We have refill tanks at the pond, but getting smaller bottles (less than 9oz) is getting harder to find. 90g cartridges View: https://www.amazon.com/JT-90gram-CO2-Tank-Prefilled/dp/B00CL18684/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3UC2SWPO0KNPW&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.uLYIXR30P7KBxRNq4JM2el25WF4zv7DjGSlMSf_ZwyRKLquLvxQEaBVBNeGEvb_sZ1h-4TcKEVlxtluby88wFks8x7bfDYcHMm86XrVivADAuopV19NOB28-g_U0Y_LJUpB45q_Fl_gfYk-7uK8XiuvIlWuWFyKuwX1mQ5qGj_R-n9OvO-Q3m24cCcyaxDvIj3mSNDclpPLMAZ4uLloITRqcMSXDRp2ZEQycYq4va3WNiXkTkMZxCrdnERyQP1QPUki9PU8k8VmjbQFPR-dZnn-PI1SzcLnFCSfkIkHRHs8.T_kiE8rvSzvlmPFnIOmilk7v7BWZgQ5VEi-OCSC4gUc&dib_tag=se&keywords=90g+co2&qid=1719529856&sprefix=90g+co2%2Caps%2C180&sr=8-4 Adapter View: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BL2DSVTY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
oh nice! yeah I have three of these stupid cartridges from back when I was trying to find solutions for the lack of 3oz tanks. they're pretty spendy per unit for how fast we run through tanks. thanks for sharing the link to the adapter. so since you have it on-hand, could you tell me if the adapter has a burst disk or anything? BTW SJS let us know during Nationals that they're trying to get ahold of some 5 oz tanks, so if you're still looking for some, @bsgkid117 will likely post a notification on the forum if he gets them.
No Burst disk on the adapter. Just an On/Off Valve. I think this one didn't leak because it has a nice silicone gasket around the barb that penetrates the bottle seal.
oh ok. darn I was hoping it would have a safety mechanism or something like that. oh well! I kinda don't feel 100% about having a big cartridge like that in a boat without one. Thanks for the heads-up! and yeah, just keep your eyes peeled for a post from SJS!!
