I started tinkering with the Strike Models Agano hull that I won at the Conference. I am looking at using plastic for the subdeck and any place else I can. That means no sealing wood. I found some nice light weight plastic molding at Home Depot that may work out for use as the subdeck. Water channel will be plastic stips to boarder the channel along with foam and the self leveling stuff. Hope to work a little bit on her this afternoon.
Got ot go hit the road on the bike. Should be quite brisk. It's 51 out. Brrrrrrrrrr.
    Thanks,

I am sorry to hear that you are working on a cruiser finally.
I found you to be much easier to deal with when you ran something big, and easy to hit.
Get to work on that Yamato old man.

Ah yes, I to found that I was easy to hit running something large and sinking once at the Conference. A smaller target should be a lot of fun.
It's also a very fast small target.
I plan on deploying it off the deck of the Yamato whe she starts to go under.
Inform the Fleet that the Admiral is transferring his flag to the Agano. Full speed ahead.

Bobo, we'd love to hear how the plastic might work out for the subdeck and see pictures when you have them available.

I think the Agano might motivate me to finish the Belleau Wood.

To quote Eric Noble: "The gun arrangement on that thing should be illegal in most states"
