Age Limits.

    Well ive been wonmdering what the age limit for the OAF is. Also if anyother younge people like me are intrested and want to find the age limit of a club they could ask here. So were you would please post the age limit for the club that you in or any other club you know can you post it here.

    There is typically not an age limit (can' speak for OAF though), however... typically young people join with their parents (no car, typically don't have the start up money for a ship.)

    Also, it's a great excuse to get two people in at once instead of just one. "Father/son" teams give them something fun to do together, at a time (teenage) when kids often want to go their own way. Working together, they stand a better chance of being successful at getting something built & running than a single newbie, with the motivation/inspiration that working with a close family member provides. Not to mention, kids often have short attention spans & might move on to the next shiny object without the parent along to help keep them focused/committed on getting that ship finished.

    my bad i figured that there would be a age limit so no little kid goes out there and kills him self. SHINY!!!!!

    Age limit applies here for gun/torp armed warships, 16+. Merchant ships, unarmed warships and warships armed only with mines (no gas system) can be operated by any age.

    no age limit that i know of in BBS ... although we do have some ruling on the maturity and whatnot... i joined when i was...13 or so?

    i take that back... 14 years old. no parent either, but i was able to get my mom to drive me to the battles and whatnot.
