Hey Guys, Has anyone ever try to Airbrush paint on to your ships! the Reason I"m asking is I don't paint well to begin with . and i was just wondering if it would work, here one i'm looking at: http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes50204a.htm .. its a Blue Mini Air Compressor.. let me know what u guys thing.. Nikki
Using an airbrush is like using a can of spray paint, but you can adjust the air flow/pressure. If you can't paint well with a brush, you won't paint any better with an airbrush. Besides which, most ships are hardly works of art, but close enough to look good at 10-20ft away. Save your money, stick with brushes & cans of paint.
I agree, save your money.. use a brush... I have a airbrush and never use in on the warships... just my tank models.. On a large ship you will be spending more time adding paint to the cup and cleaning up the mess left behind...
Guys, Thanks, I was just asking like I said!!!! My hand shakes a little, and that why i asked weather this would work for the first time I Paint my Ships! Nikki
I've done all my models with cans and hand brushing. I do have an airbrush brand new but figure I will use that for camaflauge on the hulls. Maybe.
