I was wondering if you can take a antiair craft ships with 5 inch guns if you can take and make cannons useing regular .177 bbs and build it like big gun rc ships and use it in big gun battling.Do you think it could work or do you think it wouldent work?

It's possible but impractical. Most of the ships that had those 5" dual-purpose guns were very small, so you'd only be able to fit a few of cannons in, and they wouldn't be rotating. Furthermore, you'd be firing small shots at a shallow angle, which can distract an overly cautious opponent but are not a real threat. That's why most Big Gun destroyers and cruisers arm torpedo cannons instead. It's a knockout punch that even the mightiest battleships have to respect, and it's much simpler to build and more reliable to operate.

so you wouldn't even be able to make a small shallow magazine with the servo back a little bit

Alas, no. I have tried very hard to design rotating cannons that can fit a decent amount of firepower into a destroyer. I failed. So has everyone else that has tried. Destroyers are pushing the limits of our capability, and successfully building and battling one is the mark of an expert builder. My destroyer was my 11th ship, and I'd already gained experience by building two light cruisers before that.
