Ive sent BDE numerous emails over the past month and still no response. I sent them payment through paypal for a cannon and barrels and have yet to get any sort of email back from him. Any other way to contact him besides emails? thanks

Did you establish contact prior to sending money?

Yea, after my last thread i made here he finally replied and told me to send the money via paypal. So i did, and here i am weeks after the payments been sent and i havent even heard a word from him. I dont care if hes having to work on putting my order together or something but id rather have him tell me everything is good and that hes working on getting it to me rather than not replying to my emails wondering how my order is comming along. Just want to make sure i dont loose my money, as well as get my last gun in so i can finish putting Graf Spee together.

    Subscribed.

I was going to get some plans from them for a scratch built cruiser but this worries me.

I'd suggest filing a paypal dispute right away for non delivery of goods before the time expires.

It's the only way to cover your butt if you aren't getting any answers and you could always just redirect your cannon order to Battlers once you have your money returned. I'd cancel your order at this point even if he does respond. That way you get your money back and could even chance reordering from him again with your timer reset to start and communication established.

What plans were you trying to get, Darren?

I agree with the Mackster on filing a dispute. IT's not calling him out, it's covering yourself so you can get your money back if he remains out of contact. Having had some filed maliciously over the years (worst one on an expensive ham radio going overseas... what a nightmare!), I don't encourage it lightly. But in your case, I'd say it's fully justified. He might be overwhelmed with something none of us know about, I'm not saying anything bad about him :) Just hoping for a good resolution for this.

He's a fellow who supplies guns for Big Gun battlers, and some ship plans as well.

The American New Orleans Class Cruisers & Italian Zara Class heavy Cruisers. I was thinking of doing a wood build hull to compare whether scratch built really was cheaper than fiberglass.

    Nice Tugboat!
Thanks for the free plans! I don't know if any one has told you that. Now I don't mean to bite the hand the feeds, but where do you get these plans from any way??

Tugboat, IMO I think it would be great if there were more cruisers in to select from in your free plans folder. we need an american choice and a british one too please. :)

P.S. Thanks again for those free plans.

Ok, it appears BDE is still safe to use. my order just came in today. The owner appears to still be going through a pretty tough time, in the email i got a few days ago he said he just had his power returned or something. Sounds like a mess. Non the less, i got my gun in so i can now finish my DKM Graf Spee. Build thread with pictures to follow!!
