At the Hobbytown USA in Hermantown, MN there are four older Big Gun ships for sale. They are on consignment. I am told the seller is Carol Dahl. I'm not sure who the builder or battler was no one up there ever battled with the PPB group. If you are interested contact the store NINE52 NINE13 818Two. I think it's the managers cell number.
I just found out about them and told them I would post them on line I have nothing to do with the sale, no need to contact me.

Pretty sure I recognize some of those as being John Mianowski’s handiwork. I know the Nelson is. The 1” rib spacing makes me think the cruiser is. The layout of the hood make me think it is. He was a/the founding member of the NTXBG if I remember right. I haven’t seen him for 19-20yrs. He moved from TX to MN (his childhood home, IIRC) many years ago.

That's some serious blast from the past action going on there, and overpriced to boot.

And suddenly, I find myself wondering how Lars has been doing. Maybe I should try calling him sometime. See if the number still works.

We all miss you, Curly - and Lars too!

Man, I was hoping to find a picture of one of your boats, but Lars' Tigger will have to do, I guess. Hope you're doing well up there!

Ooh, that's a purty ship. Pity we haven't seen her in years. (I think I had that second pic somewhere in my collection, but the first one is new to me. Kawaii!)

Aww, man, I so wish I'd just gotten a plane ticket and flew up for the weekend. Perhaps I should do that next spring. Or something.
