    This may or may not be in our discussions. This thread is to bring knowledge of books out there that you did not know about or you have seen it and are curious about the book

    That said. I just got a copy of a reprinted book from the Naval Institute Press. BIG GUN MONITORS by Ian Buxton.ISBN978-1-59114-045-0. This book is a reprint of the same name back in the late 70s. It has many pictures of these odd vessels. Many are of these vessels being built or in Drydock for refit or repair.There is one body plan of the British 12 inch monitors. I believe every British monitor is there. From the Gorgon to the Roberts. Again lots of pictures and stats. The sells for $70.00+ a little cheaper if a member. Any specific questions do not hesitate to ask. A must book if you are interested in these vessels.

    Dan, I have built the Gorgon and did a lot of research online about her. That book would have come in handy! And is you Terror in the Roberts Class?

    The Terror is in a class by itself. It was the largest of all of these monitors.I will show you the book when our paths cross again WWCC Banquet?
