    Here are my questions.
    Forward and reverse?
Can it be set to no brake?
Can it be set to 100% reverse?

I know the Hobby King ESC can be set to use in our application. The product description for this does not tell me.

If you do that, order a backup (spare) in case no one else is running one and yours fails. Make sure however you wire it, that you make a jumper that will use other connectors so if you borrow anything you will be able to plug and play and not have to solder during the battle

Buy a couple and test them. Post a writeup of your findings.

I may do that but I need to know at least that they have reverse before I do as money is super tight at the moment.

If they're for cars, they should technically have reverse. But I would check first before ordering.

Ok, Alex said it has reverse. Not sure about the brake. I will order one and see the next time I need a speed control.
