Alright... we can house most of you here. Curt, Jennings and Crane have beds or a couch... draw straws. Chuck and Joy I hear are bringing camping gear. Paul is staying at a hotel. Osborne is going back and forth from home. That's where everyone can lay their heads.

Next up... I have found Fred's answer to Sam's..... Frank's! William and I went there for their breakfast. 4.99 for a platter of breaky and 1.49 for refillable coffee is great. Pizza and Timmy's is just down the street about 3km from the house/campsite. I just may camp out too! Also. Paul.... Curt. Frank's has almost an identical menu to Sam's... except it's not about the fish.... it's a retro 50's diner! Hot Turkey sandwiches... milkshakes... poutine... chicken fingers .... it's all good. Prices are excellent and look out for the waitresses on roller skates!!!! Very impressed.

The site is set. Five minute drive from the house. There will be five vehicles... so no shortage of seats or transport. We have two volunteers lined up for help retriving and running cameras and video. There is a CO2 station being provided. I think cost wise for CANNATS X we are keeping it to the refill of the tank... if there is something more, we'll deal with it at lakeside.

More details as they come. There is no hobby store in town so if you have spare parts... well... they may or may not find a use....

As far as the Fred Shipyard goes:

Bismarck - Needs gun plumbing and cooling system for engine.
all other systems good to go. Has been tested and needs only teeth.

Tirpitz - Internal refit. Systems in place are temporary and will be swapped out for permanent ones. Guns mounted and awaiting plumbing.

Malaya - Guts have been ripped out... excessive use of internal resin has been hammered out... with care. She needs stip to stern work here.

    KGV - Winter Build 2008.

Vanguard - Hull sits. More than likely not to be built.

    Graf Spee 1 - Winter Build 2008.

Graf Spee 2 - see Graf Spee 3......

    Graf Spee 3 - Spring/Summer Build 2009.

One ship yet to be ordered.... winter 2009.

Thanks for stopping by.... will post answers to remarks/questions/etc. as we can.

    Marrooned from the Black Pearl....

Pretty good scheduale Craig, I am going down stairs as soon as I finish here to put Tirpitz back on the lift and start reinstalling all her running gear, I still have one set of duels to install but that should not take too long. Then on to the perment wiring and finish water proofing servos. I hope to get the sevo tray built before Curt arrives so all we have to do is install the air system.

This should be an interesting CANNATS. The Sodak has been re-sheeted. I just need some sun to paint the hull. Tonight I will use Bondo on the edges. Please give us some sun

Looks like were outgunned and outnumbered.Well...I'd say the odds are even.

"Captain" If we go into the Nebula we won't be able raise shields or use our sensors'

(Spock) "Sauce for the Goose" Mr.Savik.....The ODDS will be EVEN.

It is suppose to be nice [?] on Thurs and Fri. We will see. The Scharnhorst is up and running, just need to repair the bottle (O-RING failure) and we will bet all ready to make the Allies run home crying to Mommy.[^]

On another note, my PC is down at home and am I limited to checking things out at work. I will get ahold of the Steves and try to get a sitrep.

On another other note, Mac was talking to Bob and will be the captain of HMS Kent (or one of her sisters) this weekend. More cows (don't like lamb) to the slaughter.
