cannon hangs over

    if a cannon hangs over the side of the ship is that ok. rule set mwc

    Sure that is allowed, its not always the best thing to do since it can get caught on stuff. Some people do it other don't, I personally think its a bad idea and cut my barrels down. If you cut them down you'll lose some velocity and some accuracy but it generally is only an issue with sidemounts so long range accuracy isnt as important and if you have decent guns they will still shoot hard enough to poke holes in balsa.

    its the bow cannon on a vdt. if i cut it it would be like 2 1/2 inchs

    The bow sidemount on my VDT is somewhere between 2.5-3 inches, works just fine.

    um looking to get it at a 90 angle (left) so if i cut it its all good and if i dont its still all good. its my sons ship so ill tell him. cut or not to cut

    I have the sidemounts on my NC hanging off the sides. On warspite I cut them off at the side of the ship. Since NC should keep her distance should should not get run into as much as a Warspite or other hug n slug ship. I have had the NCs sidemounts hit and pushed out of place, does not happen that much.
    On another note I like to push my bow against the other ships sidemounts when they are hanging off the ship's side. It keeps his guns off target and can help get my on target.
