Just so everyone is aware, CANadian NATionals is an open event to anyone. All ships in whatever state or province, ruleset or rulesbended shape are accepted to attend and depending on if there are outragous modes like flamethrowers and laser scopes... you'll more than likely be cleared to battle.

To the local Treaty crew especially: Although your ships may not be up to CWC specs, is not a big enough issue not to attend, there is very little variation between formats, except for perhaps speed, which you may be able to change in time or not, it's up to the captain. You may have a compatable ship still, I don't know. As far as history goes... that's where it can stay as far as that's concerned.

Let it go, come and enjoy the hospitality of New Brunswick and even if you don't come to battle, you may want to come for the atmosphere.

Hi Bob. I know your family ties with St. John and hope still that all are in good health. If you are in the area next weekend and should we see each other pondside, We could either have a duel and clear the air, or go to our respected sides and have at it... I will have no problem in any scenario shaking your hand when it is all over.

Everyone thanks for your listening and let's have a safe, fun event!
    It's going to be great!

    Craig,
Thanks for the invitation to Cannats X. My Treaty models can be converted back to IRCWCC specs by changing pump outlets and props so combat format is not a problem. Unfortunately, I'm on call from Sept. 12-19 and can't leave the Halifax area.

The Cannats X battle site looks ideal. I hope all goes well and everyone has a good time.

Something to consider is that if NABS remains an IRCWCC affliate, your site is close to the American border and has great potential as an IRCWCC NATS site. It's also much closer to the only other Canadian IRCWCC/MWC naval combat club (OAF).

    Bob

    Thanks for the support guys.

A rain check than Bob. No problem. The site is very much like the grove. It is just a bit "tree sparse" for my liking, no shade. I think a joint venture is in order and we'll see how this battle goes. Lots of potential here.

Curt arrives tommorrow and Osborne is coming up on Sunday. We'll get some building, chatting and catching up done and then the four c's (Craig, Chris, Chris and Curt) will head over to the Fred Grove to check it out.

Once again thanks, and good luck with your treaty format. Sounds like things are off to a good start there.
