Well the business end of the cannons are the same. The straight v. coiled part is the magazine. The straight ones are a easier to load, but I am not sure which is more reliable.

Having used both at one time or the other, I prefer the straight mags due to ease of replacement if one gets damaged.

I like using the coils and the straights. The coils I like the option to load the cannon without having to remove the hatch which makes for a quick load. For multi gun setup or pairing of guns I like the straights. Both types fire well. It will depend on your setup for your ship. You may end up using both styles . The only way to know for sure is to try test fitting the cannon types and see which will work best for you.

Which type will fit into your hull with the least trouble?
That is the way to go.

    Guys,
I know the question, sounded dumb, But sooner or later, i would like my mom and dad to take her out, that way i can take my LST out, and for them to be able to shot at her, without my help!! And I know they cannons will still shot!
