I'm just curious about what Youtube videos people like. Post links to the best WW1-WW2 videos, the best model warship combat videos (I'm biased, so I'll hold off on that part), your number one favorite Youtube video of any subject, and say why you like those videos. Naval Warfare in Peasholm Park, Scarborough: they've been putting on staged naval battles for a very long time, it would be a kick to see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7R6Pf7fZdI WW1 in color (colorized film): the first has some awesome music that fits the war perfectly, the second has a good plot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFsOc1vKhLQ&NR=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXBsKVjWJjs Visual Effects demo reel for the upcoming Red Baron movie: I'd love to see this movie, if only for the VFX http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJghJNAjc1k WW2 Star Wars: The most famous historical war told in the style of the most famous ficticious war, well worth 10 minutes each http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMBwd_WSvoU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD9TdZMRsIs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzqittCLmGs Mechwarrior/Battletech: I always liked the Mechwarrior games and Battletech novels, this is just a cool tribute, even though it has nothing to do with ww1/ww2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZjN2enZ9qM
Thats the only video I could find of the Peasholm Park, Scarborough events. Apparently they've been doing it since at least the 1940's all summer long to attract tourists, but that is the first video I've seen on Youtube. Anybody want to post their own links? What are your favorite model warship combat videos? Big Gun Navy, Rumble In Ravenna, or are there others?
Well if we get Battlestations up and running we're going to do an experiment to see if a Yamato can capsize a destroyer with a full broadside. Just like Mythbusters but probably with out the final explosions.[8D]
