So would a ship that was not in active service but still floating on her own bottom until 1907 be considered legal for Battlestations?

You must have a particular ship in mind by asking that question. ;)

The rules simply say the ship must have sailed from 1905 to 1945 and at least floated. Guess the question is; what is "sailed" defined as?

I can think of a bunch of ships that fit that description. We probably should clarify things a bit. Does being a hulk count?

The ship in question was placed in inactive reserve in 04 and scrapped in 07.

    I'm curious now.
    What is it?
*EDIT* It's not a Passaic class monitor is it? That would be tres cool.

I can neither confirm nor deny that the ship in question is a Passaic class monitor.
This proposed project is now classified black and code named "Feodora". Further public discussions by Tyng Industries personnel is strictly prohibited.

Hmmm, this makes me want to add the HMS Abercrombie, a Roberts class Monitor, to my build list...

    Anyone built monitors before?

Not in BattleStations yet, and very few in 1/144th scale.

Oh and on my Passaic guess I was wrong. The last of those were scrapped in 1902. The very similar Cannonicus is still in the running.
