Hey all. Just throwing a few into lock down mode. If you think they need to be unlocked ... give me a heads up and I'll more than gladly take care of it. I figured the KGV will have it's own build thread, graf spee, bismarck will start to be posted to... so we leave those. Communication is key here guys, and gals, I used to be a mind reader... gave it up cause some people have nasty thoughts... just nasty... *grins* in other words please keep me informed.

    Thanks,

    Jack

Ask Chris but we could most likely delete the "Chuck" thread.

Hey again folks!!! Just got off the phone with Curt and as joint moderators... Curt and I have decided to leave all posts for two pages, unlocked. Old posts that are unread will eventually make it to the second page and then we will go back and decide to lock or leave unlocked. NONE will be deleted anymore. We both agreed, this is the history and it is good to go back from time to time. In the old yahoogroup you could go back years if you wanted. So if you are ya or nay .... let us know your thoughts on this....

    Thanks again folks.

I think maybe there should be some selective deletes from the second page. Smack threads should be deleted. Build or technical threads should stay.

I agree, no need to hold on to the smack but as for the rest keep them.

Ok.... guys.... here is the thought of the day.... Smack thread sounds to me like the allies can't keep up.... if that is the only thread to "delete" then let's lock her off and see if we don't stay on topic ... no smack in the threads. The reason smack was put up in the first place if people remember was the eight threads smack had become... it gave us an outlet. If the allies want to admit defeat and allow axis smack whenever we feel like it... then I shall lock off the thread... otherwise, it is still serving a purpose. Curt?

Here are my 2 cents; you all know there is no way on God's green earth, in Yoda's mudhole Dagoba, in the Forge of Vulcan, the Pegasus galaxy or any where else, that there will be no smack in the threads!! Craig, you have a better chance of having an litter of kittens and Chris, you have a better chance of having a litter of pugs than there being no smack in the threads. Just my opinion of course (but you ALL know I'm right!!!)

Fantastic reactions guys! Love it Jay! That's the spirit!!

The could be archived, I don't see any need to archive any yet, Paul.

I just checked out the other club's threads, the two major ones next to us, NABS and Washington Treaty don't archive or lock out their posts so using that as the stat quo.... I'd say what we are doing is pretty good. If there is a specific thread we need archived, fire it off there guys!

Then lets not lockout anything. Those threads will be so far back.. it won't matter. I hate Archives. Lets just let these threads move forward at thier own pacing.
