    Guys,
over the next few months, I want to detail my Littorio class Italian battleship and would like info on where to get some of the Axis items, i.e. anti-aircraft guns, anchors, etc. Anyone have some sources?
    Steve :)

If you can provide, produce, or convince someone else to produce samples of the items you want cast, I'm sure George would be glad to cast a bunch for you. He's done some incredible work with the US details, and he also makes stuff for Germany as well. I know he's got an assortment of anchors already, but you'll have to give him some secondary and tertiary guns if you want a bunch of those made.

    Carl,
that is the question, where to get the pieces that will suffice properly. I have cast many parts in resin before, but it's finding the piece to cast without infringing upon a copyright. There are lots of US Navyand German items, but not many that resemble the Italian Navy stuff correctly. I will just carve my own and cast them I guess. :D
    thanks,
    Steve

I think 'carve your own' is the right answer as far as intellectual property rights go. As for casting, if you don't want to do it, I'm sure you can work something out with Grey Wolf, Strike, or BC. I've never dealt with 'George' so I can't vouch for him, although it sounds like Karl knows him.

It it was available, I would be very interested in a Littorio Super cast in Alumilite...

I'm hoping to have a Roma ready and taking on Powder Monkey's fleet by the begining of the sping....(insert evil laugh...)

When your ready for the Super then give me a shout.. I make them out of Rubber
too and they hold up rather well to Monkeys rather weak and ineffective gunnery,
