Well as soon as some of us out here in western Mass get our ships ready we wouldn't mind trying some inter club battles. Just so you know our ships are in 1/96 scale and use BG style wepons and armor:) might be interesting to see what would happen.

Fred, just looking at the page that has everyones bios on it and I noticed something interesting. You live in Lawrence, MA my family is origionally from there. You say you are a firefighter, do you happen to know a Patric Swihart, who I belive is retiring this year?? he's my uncle.

1/96 eh, I like the scale, give more of a range of ships to our 1/144. I have only 1 of the 1/96 hulls, an Ottawa II former g class dd from britan. It would be interesting to have a mixed battle of, big gun, small gun and 1/96, maybe a last man standing.

I think it would be a slaughter, the 1/96 ships are more heavily armed, carry more ammo, go faster and have a lot more volume to fill up before they sink, but it would still be fun:) is your Ottawa battle ready?

No its not ready. With a bunch of boats on the go, I have no time for it Under construction or refit is Scharnhorst, Tirpiz, Newfoundland, Fuso, Junyo, Prince Roberts, Pundua. the 96 has to wait with the 32scale stuff, and the 1:20 Battleship

A 1/20 scale battleship? your kidding, right? If I built my Yamato to that scale it would be over 43 feet.

That sounds like fun. You build the hull, I'll build the turrets :) Big enough to man each turret with it's own gun captain... :)

Its not that strange to have a large ship, it will be ( when finished )Scharnhorst scale is around 1/28 and ship will be 27'-6" long. Have already got 60% of the material as well as figuring out the paint ball guns for the main guns. This just doesn't seem that strange to me.

Let Curt have his torpedo, I'v seen him shoot, no problems here- He'd have to be sitting in it to hit it.
