Links to all sorts of goodies.

Are you building a wood hull or fiberglass?

Are there any "local" people near you that can help?

Do you want tips on anything in specific?

    Do you own a dremel?

Campbelltown is a very small ship in scale; I strongly recommend something bigger like a cruiser or battlecruiser. Not raining on the parade, just that destroyers are hard to build in scale due to space and weight limitations.

He's got a entry in the warship registry indicating he intends to build to Queens Own scale, 1/72. Didn't know anyone on the east coast was doing QO, but if he is, then its not so small. :)

OOooohh... in that case, disregard :) I only looked at his profile. In 1/72 that'd be fine.

In 1/96 it is still very challenging , though 1/72 should be doable.

Most of the Ohio battling is with the Treaty Club. You can join the yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TreatyCombat/. As for your ship, you'll likely have to build it unless you can find one for sale. Battlersconnection.com and strikemodels.com sell most of what you need.
