    Heya all,

I'm nearing completion of a Richelieu for fast gun and looking forward to painting on the color scheme. The scheme I selected is a somewhat unique and uncomplicated, but doesn't look like every other standard gray/blue gray ship.

Mikey D found a reference for the scheme's colors (thanks Mikey!). With a little help from a few online translators, this is what I came up with:

Bow and stern: Gris Bleu Clair = light blue gray
In the upper works: Bleu Gris Brun = brown gray blue
Center of the hull: Bleu Violet = purple blue

The light blue gray is pretty easy. The purple blue sounds like the dark marine blue the USMC used on their aircraft.

The tough one is the brown gray blue. Can anyone give me an idea what that might look like?

Yup, that is a color scheme that I will use someday, perhaps for the next Nats. This one I'm going to use is a little simpler. :)

Perhaps though I might be able to find the brown gray blue in that link someplace.
