I was wondering if Gylnn Guest hulls could be modified to be used for R/C combat? They are very basic hulls and easily constructed. Glynn Guest models in 1/144 scale. Unfortunately light cruisers are the largest plans he has. I was thinking they could even be an entry level ship to get people (like me) into the hobby. Of course it seems to me the guts of the ships is where it's starts getting expensive.
Somewhere I read on this forum of using "target ships", which sound like old ships past their prime. If one wanted a cheap target ship, Glynn Guest hulls I believe would be good for this. 4 sheets of balsa and you have a hull. I have 2 destroyer hulls using this method. The experienced builders could complete them in a couple of hours.
