    Hello Captians,
I came across model warship combat about a year ago. I build a USS Brooklyn model but due to bad steerage had to repair it. I am presently working on a DKM Bismark model form Strike Models. I have never battled before although I would like to one day. I have some questions and hopefully I will be posting them soon.
    Sincerely,
    Dexter

    Hello!

I am not sure whether there is a club in the area although there are a lot of rc naval combat members in the area. So there is probably a club. It might not be the right thing to do, but I was first hoping to build a ship and then join a club. I suppose joining the club first would be easier since then I could get help from the captains.

Yes you are absolutely right on that point, so they can help although you dont need to join a club to get help but instead could just start getting together with the people near you. Who knows you could end up starting a new club closer to you then the current clubs.

Thanks for the advice. I will finish up my USS Brooklyn and start going to a club then.

    Welcome aboard, Dexter!
What types of clubs are around you? Check and see if there are big gunners near you if you want to play big gun. Nobody would want to build a ship, and then find out that they built in to the the wrong format. :)

    Again, welcome aboard!:)

I am not sure if there are any clubs in the area although there are some rc naval combat members, who have big gun ships. So I think I will stick with big gun for my DKM Bismark. We might be able to start a big gun club here one day.
