In fastgun, after a 1 unit pump, the Lion has 3.5 units. Enough for a 1.5 stern gun, and 2 sidemounts i believe. that might be an idea.

yea, thats fast gun, and just my opinion, there are many things you can do with 4.5 total units. You talked to sean, or are you talking about me?

A Lion can be set up two ways in fast gun. Twin sterns and a sidemount in A turret for the new guns. OR a single stern and two sidemounts for guys with more time on the water.
There are other ways to set it up but these two are the best.

In the format I am developing my KGV will be able to mount 7.5 units. I can mount 6.5 bb cannons on board. I can go with a Quad stern, single sidemount in A turret/B Turret. Option 2- If I take the 75 unit and make it a 50rd cannon and a .25 unit pump then I could mount a sinlge stern cannon, Quad sidemount, and a single sidemount, with a full unit pump, and a 1/2 unt pump. As long as I don't exceed 4 cannons in a sidemount and I must leave at least 1 working cannon in a sidemount. My KGV class model will be the first to be mounted this way. The Quad sidemounts will be more effective than the Quad sterns and it will keep would be attackers at bay then the quad sterns as the ship doesn't turn that well , decent yes but not the most maneuverable. I could be wrong on that but it's not bad as far as I understand.
I could just go with a dual stern, dual port sidemount and a dual stbd sidemount with a full unit pump. Either way I have more options in this format than the current format for fast gun. Particulary a ship like this doesn't have a lot of options. Once completed I will post reports of my findings. Won't be soon though but next year I hope to have it ready.
