On this date back in 2006 Washington Treaty Combat was started.
    We are 5 years old.
The original post was sent to the Buckeye Battle Squadron,
informing them that we were interested in battling to the new rule set in between their sorties.
We planned to try out the rules package here in Ohio to make sure that everything would work, before going public with the new format.
The very next day, Plato posted it on the IRCWCC group site, and then someone from the MWC posted it onto the MWC site the same day.
So the cat was let out of the bag pretty much over night, and we found ourselves under the gun when it came to testing out all of our ideas on the water.
So here we are. Five years later, and to be honest, not much has changed in our rule set.
So Happy Birthday to our wonderful group.
Thanks to all that have made this young group all that it is.
    Mikey
