Over the past few months, I've been reading and posting to several topics, but have never officially introduced myself.

My screen name stems from my past association with "SCA".
Yes, I would wear 75 pounds of steel, the go out and fight with a sword and shield.

    As for RC
I am very new to RC ship combat.
I am an old aviation nut who is putting aircraft aside. (Retired USAF)
I currently have four (144 Scale) ships under construction.
    A Victory
A Liberty (Just needs to be skinned and radio gear)
A ā€œDā€ class Lt Cruiser (ORP Dragon)
    And a Destroyer. (FNS Mogador)
Only one is complete enough to float.
I have joined the Big Guns guys with the Mid Atlantic Battle Group.

I have been enjoying reading the various topics and thank you to all of you who have posted help for my building problems.

    Have a wonderful day.

My armor was a combination. Breast Plate, a chain skirt, the legs were plate, and the arms were leather.
Used a heater for a shield, but weas planning on going to a three foot, center mount, round.
My intent was to go Vicking, but never got around to building a period suit.
