Hello I am new to the obsession. I am probably going to buy my first ship to get the hang of things then build a second from scratch. So look forward to me having a few questions while I am assembling my first. Followed by ALOT OF QUESTIONS on second and subsequent ships. Looking forward to putting BB's in all of your pride and joys .(and most likely getting twice as many in mine).
Hi Jeromy, Louisiana is in MWCI Region 4, which I am also in. There is an event near New Orleans in March, http://www.mwci.org/eventinfo.shtml?112_10_13_12 John S. is a good local contact out of Monroe LA or myself in Houston TX. Send me a private message with your email and I will pass it on. You can also send over any questions to me in the time being. Where in Louisiana do you live? Johnny
Thanks for the welcome and yes battles can be done year round where I am. Last time ponds water froze was 1989. I have piloted R.C. Vessels before just not the 1:144 scale size. And they Sure did not have working guns. So I am truly looking forward to that aspect of the Hobby.
Well you are only an hour from Wade's pond in Boutte LA where the battle will be in March. You should try to make it out and meet us all, its one of the best events of the year.
Jeromy, if there is any way you can make the Brouhaha at Wade's pond in March, I will have a functional loaner boat there for you to battle with. All you gotta do is show up. Room and board not included
Hey Jeromy, Welcome! I am actualy in the north part of Louisiana in Monroe so if you are ever in this part of the state and want to sneak a peak at some boats let me know. I couldn't recomend going to the battle at Wades enough. It is a great time and an awesome opportunity to meet other folks in the hobby. Welcome aboard! John in Monroe
