Hello From Chicago

    Hey there,
    Ive been a lurker to this hobby/forum for awhile. Thanks to the laser cut kits that RCENGR sells, i decided to go ahead and pull the trigger join the forum/hobby:D
    Ive been studying/researching for awhile, and im starting my 1st build.

    Thank you! Your Suffren has also been a influence for me. Good work with a scatch build!
    Im not sure which format yet. So ill build it to match all the formats up intill i cannot. For now im going to the leave the rudder and skinning off. Same size pump as the drive motors.
    Ill have to see what is in my area

    There are several MWC guys in Chicago. Ethan was ROY at NATS 11. There were having building meetings at JPs house, not sure what their current schedule is.
    There are also a couple guys in Cedar Rapids, IA. A couple in central WI and a very large group in MN.
    Two of the MN captains have Baltimores, not from your kit, completed. One new guy is also building one.

    Build meetings? That would be nice, get to learn stuff from the pro's. I wouldn't mind drivin outta state for a game as well
