Hello I am new to the hobby and want to learn how to get into it. It would also be great to learn about clubs in my area if there are any. Thank you to anyone that replies.

    Hi Packboy:
Closest club is SCRAP, we battle at Prado (locate on map) & directions are on our website. You can find it searching rcwarshipcombatscrap. Check it out.
Our battles are the 1st saturday of each month, usually. During the summer we are mossed out. We do have builds though.

Thank you very much. I do know where Prado is because I have had to go to Corona a lot which is, if I am not mistaken, very close. But thanks again

Oh and I forgot to ask about the rules and such of SCRAP. The reason is because I could not find the rules on the site. If I missed something can you please direct me to it and thanks.

SCRAP is Fastgun. Also WWCC has a new chapter starting in SoCal. We are Big Gun. The rules are on the website www.westernwarshipcbat.org

You will want to get in contact with Rob Wood

Both formats have different styles. Depends what you're into. Some like one butter then the other while others love both equally. Either way you have come to the right site because this hobby is a blast. Lots of good guys and a wealth of knowledge on this site!

That's great but I would like to know the rules for SCRAP because I looked on the WWCC website and found the rules for that but couldn't find the rules for SCRAP on their website. If the the rules are the same as the rules at IRCWCC then that would be great to know and thank you for the responses and thanks to the community for the hobby so far. From what I have experienced so far the community in my opinion is very good.

I believe SCRAP is using the old MWCi rules. Attached a copy someone sent me earlier this year when I asked.
