Hi Thomas! I just started last month and there's lots of help and info
here for you. What is the Silver State? Are the clubs near you mostly
    fast-gun, Treaty, or Big-Gun?

There are several MWC guys in Nevada, CO & CA. In fact the MWC NATS are in Denver next year. I've sent you contact info for one of the locals.

Welcome! We have a pretty active group in and around the Reno area which is just up the road from you.

The Silver State is Nevada (ne-vah-duh, not ne-vaw-da) It borders CA, UT, ID, AZ, and OR. Capital City: Carson City

We do, but it's like the opening scene to water world. j/k. Actually the northern part of the state is very beautiful with trees and hills and snow and all that. Now, the rest of it...well I'll leave that to your imagination.

It's great off to the west and north. When I was working in western Nevada, it was time for a week break, but we had to much to do, so my company flew my wife out for the week.

I told her there was not much to see in Hawthorne, except the worlds largest ammo dump, 850,000 tons of ammo, lots of it left over from WW2. And Walker lake where they tested torpedo's during WW2. But we did get up in the mountains over in Cal so she was happy. Mammoth lakes is fantastic.

blow that up and that would make a great battle pond! Diving for the ships might be tricky with the live ordinance though [xx(]

Yep when you drive into town, all you see for miles around are the humps of dirt, where the ammo is stored.
