hey guys and gals, My name is Lloyd Strepaniuk live in calgary alberta canada. i have been following this hobby for about 5 years now. have yet to build a ship or u boat. im veary big in rc every thing has been a hobby of mine and my dad since i can remember lol. i have cinda been waiting and searching for more followers like my self here in my city but no luck so i thought i would join your guys site to learn and ask tones of questions and build my ships hone my skills with targets and dummy ships and be ready for a battle with a cupple people if i can find some and mabe create a little club
Welcome Lloyd, from one Canuck to another. There were some people interrested a few years ago in Alberta, not sure if they were in Calgary or Edmonton. In the Build thread there are a couple of group build threads where you build right along at home. One is called 'Spudsy's Group Build Project' by McSpuds and the other is 'SB-101 'Building MN Edgar Quinet'' by Tugboat. These take you from a piece or two of plywood, a rubber band and chewing gum to a RC combat warship. Something to check out if you want. J
