Hello Im a university student in calgary. I dont own any ships yet but am hoping to get started in this awesome hobby. What I need help with is gathering information on getting started. Specifically: does anyone know where and when events take place around Calgary? I was hoping to spectate and learn more about this hobby. Any information would be great. Thanks in advance
I am afraid that I don't know of anyone in the Calgary area. So.... you will probably have to start your own. The people on this site will be happy to help and talk you though building your own ship.
Hi Mike, There were a couple of guys in Calgary a few years ago but I haven't heard of them for a couple of years. I am on Vancouver Island, there is a couple of guys who want to get in the hobby in Vancouver, I have his e-mail if you want it. The closest battles to us both are in Washington St. in the Tacoma area, at least until I get some interrest built up here. Do you ever get to the island?
