The Enterprise and her crew engaged in some of the fiercest battles ever seen, marked by intense firepower, instinct and a 360-coordination between the carrier, the destroyers, the aircraft above and the submarines below.     Off the top of my head, she bagged 71 ships including 3 carriers and a BC for for over 100k tons. I'm thinking the subs can read the Big E's scoreboard and weep.

    If we go tons sunk for tons displacement, Big E ain't even in the minor leagues. (Lot of submarine spirit there :)
